To create a Google Adwords Campaign, you require a Google account and to set up your campaign, ad groups, and ads. It doesn’t matter if you are creating a shopping, display, search or app campaign, the steps are pretty much the same.

Before anything else, you will need to establish goals for your business and define the target audience of your Google Adwords campaign.

Now that your campaign is ready, just click next to display the options to create your ad groups.

In the ad groups section, you are going to name each ad group and set up your keywords. You can create as many ad groups as you want, a good practice is to group related keywords into different ad groups.

Use the keyword planner to find new keywords and to check the average monthly search of the ones you choose.

Step #3: Set up your ads on Google Adwords

After having your ad groups and keywords ready, you will need to set up your ads. Write between 3 to 4 ads for each ad group. Remember to include keywords and promotions into your ads, so that they can be attractive to your target audience.

Review your ads, make sure they follow Google Adwords Policy and then click finish. Your ads are going to start showing a couple of hours after your campaign begins.

Remember that once your ads are running, you will need to check them regularly to optimize your strategy.
